My body is here, my mind is on a jet to somewhere else

First and most importantly, I am ALL caught up on Heroes...now the last few episodes make much more sense then they did when I originally viewed them. And I have to admit...I've been reading some spoilers posted on the IMDB Heroes message board. It's amazing how entertaining message boards can be when you are board out of your mind. I also learned who the hell they were talking about when they kept mentioning a "HRG". All I could think of is RPG (rocket-propelled grenade). I always get annoyed when people start referring to characters by retarded nicknames.

A few weeks ago I decided I was bored and sick on my hair...which lead to me giving myself bangs...which looked kinda ok until last Wed I went in to get my hair color darkened and trimmed and my hairdresser gasped and asked, "What did you do?" I thought I had done a damn good job since I had gotten compliments from strangers since I took the scissors to my hair...unless they were really good and keeping a straight face and were snickering behind my back.

Aside from Heroes and my hair, my three day weekend was very non eventful but very pleasant. My mom spent a week here (left yesterday) so we had Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to enjoy ourselves without dealing with work or the film (though I got some nice homecooked meals the rest of the week too!). We went to Puyallup Friday to the antique area where my mom got a mirror then we stopped by Ikea on our way back to get some plants and a nightstand (one thing I lacked in my apartment). Saturday we did some shopping at the mall where I spent too much money on a purse and then went to a Mongolian grill. Very quiet holiday, but it was nice not to deal with a lot of assholes. Sunday we went to the Woodland Park Zoo and spent about three hours there. It has been about 10 years or so since the last time I was there so we both had a blast. I still get sad seeing some of the animals in the small enclosures with "endangered" posted next to their species. All in all it was very enjoyable!

I have one more weekend of filming before I head home to take some time off before things get a little crazier (both with my day job and the film). I wish I could fly off to somewhere, but I do need to spend time with my grandma. I am just so sick of hearing about everyone else’s vacations and then complaining when it's over...COME ON PEOPLE! At least you get to escape while I am in amongst a bunch of jerk offs on the freeway that believe the world belongs to them then go home to my apartment in the ghetto where I hear gunshots every once in awhile.

I've been reading this blog about this nightmare situation this poor girl is having with an evil roommate, which brings up very "fond" (sarcasm) memories of my first roommate (1 out of 3). I think everyone needs to have that experience once in their life...though I hope it doesn't last more than 6 months and lead to you either being on COPS or Judge Judy. I’m tempted to write about her but I wonder if she is indeed worth the effort. My only goal would be to show that a good portion of the young adults go thru the nightmare roommie at least once in their life.
